Our SECOND STEP, this comprehensive fifteen-module learning program, represents the fundamental knowledge required for snowmobilers or snow bikers to gain a thorough understanding of avalanche risks in the backcountry. It is also important to note that using online learning with hands-on in-field instruction is critical in developing the retention and skills one needs to navigate avalanche terrain. This program was designed to complement hands on education.
